Thoughtful design

The Iron Sedis sleeper bench is crafted for enduring performance in high-use outdoor spaces and natural landscapes. Constructed from solid sleeper timber, it offers unshakeable stability and heavy-duty strength while having the option of maintaining a refined, smoothly sanded surface, or rough sawn rugged finish. Innovatively built with solid steel internal leg joins for durability and rustic aesthetics, the seating surface remains completely free of exposed hardware for maximum sitting comfort and a seamless aesthetic. Over time, the timber gracefully matures into a silvery grey patina, reinforcing its organic connection to the surrounding environment. Functionality is at the core of every design: benches can be free-standing for easy repositioning or anchored into the ground for maximum stability. Place two units together to create a couch-like arrangement, add outdoor cushions for extra comfort, and enjoy a seat that outlasts conventional wooden benches. Over time, natural weathering will only enhance its authenticity — making it as enduring as it is functional. Comes standard height of 460mm for optimal seating displacement, or lower options can be customised. This is not just a seat — it’s a durable, naturally Australian outdoor feature designed to be enjoyed for decades.
