A garden table where the whole family fits

Outdoor spaces residents actually want to use.

A care home garden works when residents can get there, sit down and get up again without a struggle, and when a son, daughter or grandchild can pull up beside them. Low seats, heavy benches to climb over and tables that a wheelchair cannot reach make a garden a place people avoid.

We handcraft aged care outdoor furniture from solid Australian hardwood with accessibility built in. Tell us about your residents and your garden and we will help you choose what makes it easy for everyone to join in.

Why it suits aged care

Easy to use, calm to look at, built to last.

  • Wheelchair access built in

Our wheelchair-access upgrade shifts the table legs inward on one side and reinforces the frame, leaving generous clearance for a wheelchair and adding seating space.

  • Seat height that helps

A 46 cm seat height is standard on most of our benches, and our low-profile bench seats can be raised to 46 cm to take the strain off knees and backs.

  • Walk-through seating

No leg lifting over a bench, so residents and visitors can step straight in.

  • Solid and stable

Heavy hardwood does not rock or tip when someone leans on it for support.

  • Warm, natural timber

Hardwood brings texture and warmth to a courtyard, and can be re-oiled over the years.

  • A conversation, not a catalogue

We talk through your residents' needs with you, and take the time to get it right.

Where most care homes start

Tables and seating for garden courtyards.

Many care homes begin with a wheelchair-accessible table setting for family visits and a few raised-height bench seats along garden paths. Browse the range below, then tell us about your residents and we will suggest what fits.

Solutions for residents

Family visit tables, garden paths and quiet corners.

Family visits need a table where a wheelchair user can sit at the end or side with everyone else. Our wheelchair-access upgrade is available on our Traditional TK and Dura Pine HD settings, and wheelchair-accessible options are available on Iron King on request.

Garden paths work best with benches at a comfortable height every so often, so residents can rest. Raised seat heights make getting up much easier.

Quiet corners suit a bench in a sheltered spot, so a resident can sit alone with a view of the garden.
